Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 22, 2026
SignalWatch wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We do not claim certification or audited conformance; accessibility is treated as an ongoing engineering discipline, and we continue to test and improve.
Measures on this site
- Full keyboard navigation: every interactive element can be reached and operated without a mouse.
- Visible focus states on links, buttons and form controls.
- A skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading order on every page, so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and empty alt attributes on purely decorative ones.
- Hero videos are decorative and ambient rather than informational: the message is always carried by adjacent text, so no essential content depends on watching video. Any future video that carries meaningful content will be published with captions or a transcript.
- Reduced-motion support: when your system requests reduced motion, background videos are replaced with static poster images and animations are disabled.
- Colour-contrast discipline across the palette, and no information conveyed by colour alone.
- Programmatically associated labels on all form fields, understandable error messages, and screen-reader announcements when the contact form succeeds or fails.
- Touch targets sized for comfortable mobile use.
- No text permanently embedded in imagery.
Known limitations
Some background footage and photography on this site is licensed third-party stock media. It is presented as ambient scenery with text equivalents nearby, but it may lack full audio-visual description of its own. If any of this media creates a barrier for you, contact us and we will provide the information in another form.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, or have suggestions for improvement, we want to hear about it. Email contact@signalwatch.example with the page address and a description of the problem, and we will respond within a reasonable time and work to fix confirmed issues.
Ongoing work
This statement will be updated as the site evolves and as issues are found and resolved. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
